General Camp Rules & Regulations
Quiet hours will be maintained between 10:00pm and 8:00 am
Two cars are allowed on a campsite. Mini bikes, motorized scooters, ATVs, and other recreational vehicles of this type are not allowed.
Motorcycles may be used only to enter and exit campground.
Speed Limit is 5 MPH (miles per hour) throughout the resort.
Speed Limit is strictly enforced - first warning - second warning with $20 fine, third warning - eviction from park with no refund!!
Please limit your driving to necessity.
Bicycle riders must obey a 5 MPH rule; children 12 years of age and under MUST wear a helmet; bicycle riding is not allowed after dusk; bicycles must be parked at campsite when not in use.
No washing cars or RVs allowed without management permission.
Campers must not leave their children unattended in the camping area. Children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by an adult in the bathrooms and showers.
No lifeguard is on duty - swim at your own risk; children must have adult supervision at all times; swimming areas are clearly designated.
Canoes, kayaks, rowboats, and inflatable boats are allowed - sorry, no gas motors.
No kegs allowed - excessive drinking or intoxication will not be tolerated.
Drug use is grounds for immediate ejection.
No fireworks or other explosives, firearms, bows and arrows, or other weapons will be tolerated on premises
Camping generated refuse only; no littering or dumping of trash; please keep your campsite tidy
Always secure the permission of the Wilderness Lake Office before lighting campfires;
There may be a fire ban any time conditions are determined to be too dry or windy
Fires are restricted to fire pits on site and must be attended at all times
Please keep fire pits clean and free of refuse and debris
NO SMOKING in rental units, recreation hall, arcade areas, bath hall or any other Wilderness Lake buildings. Please dispose of smoking materials safely.
Pets are a part of many of our camping families and are welcome, subject to the following restrictions:
Pets must always be on a leash
Never allow your pet to run free
Two pets are allowed per site
Keep a copy of your pet's vaccinations and license at your campsite
Pets must wear a collar with their tags at all times (showing license & vaccinations)
Pets are NEVER to be left unattended at any time
Please clean up after your pets - you may be questioned if walking a pet without a bag
Pets are not allowed in any of the rental or resort buildings unless for disability purposes
The Staff at Wilderness Lake reserves the right to deny any pet entry to the park at the sole discretion of Management.
Owners are completely liable for the pet and any damages suffered in case of an attach in a public or private area
If any pet is not following these rules or is creating a disturbance, the owner will be asked to remove the pet from the premises
All campers, RVs and pull-along campers must be kept in a condition to be removed from the park upon request. Permanent structures are not permitted. All temporary out buildings (sheds, screen enclosures, and decks) require prior approval from Management. No site may be left untidy.
Please be aware of our grounds and property lines, all of which are clearly marked.
No cutting trees in the campground.
Respect other guests and their property. Use roads and trails rather than cutting through sites.
Watch and secure your personal property/valuables. Wilderness Lake and Management are not responsible for lost, stolen, or left behind items, or damages.
All visitors must register at the Office. Occupancy of site is restricted to registered guests only. All overnight visitors will be charged a visitor fee.
Registered campers are responsible for the behavior of their guests. Behavior not in compliance with any of these guidelines will be grounds for ejection for both campers and their visitors.
This is a family resort. Appropriate language and acceptable clothing must be maintained at all times. Management reserves the right to maintain a comfortable atmosphere, and in doing so has the right, without prior notice, to ask anyone who is being disruptive, creating a disturbance, being a nuisance, or deliberately breaking the rules to leave. No refunds will be made if any such event is to occur.
NOTICE: All campers are considered non-residents and are not entitled to any town services.
